Bio-STAR™ BJ is a biochemical catalyst that, when added to a wastewater treatment plant, digester, or sludge storage tank, attacks oil and grease, waxes, and paper fibers not readily available for bacteria in their original forms. These insoluble materials are thus transformed into soluble BOD for bacteria, thereby reducing the volume of sludge produced. Bio-STAR™ BJ improves settling, creates a denser sludge, therefore, less to evacuate and haul.
